RAEL MENDONÇA
Currently 32 years old, I am a Brazilian multidisciplinary visual artist and researcher. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis on Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas in 2018. My research and areas of interest explore the interconnections of branched forms in nature.
My work has been exhibited at the Museum of the City of Campinas, Casa de Vidro, art salons in São Paulo, art galleries and universities, as well as in the USA (Overcome Film Festival) and Geumgang in South Korea.
I am eager to expand my knowledge in multiple areas, such as communication, social media strategy, advertising, design, rhizomatic structures, and ecosystems—topics that intersect with nature, microbiology, and human behavior.

Among the disciplines, the artist developed skills and techniques that he uses even at home, such as: painting, sculpture, drawing, design, installation, studying 1 year of cinema and 1 year of photography within the course.

2023 - Shelter in the Forest II' at Geumgang Nature ART BIENNALE (South Corea) - pre-exhibitiom "Radiant Hibiscus" - Pre-theoretical project - immersive art installation. The project features an awe-inspiring space with a rotating translucent roof made entirely from recycled materials with repurposed bottles. This unique design ensures a captivating play of light and shadows, allowing visitors to experience the artwork in an ever-changing and dynamic environment.
